Apple's Ad Budget Hits $1 Billion

Let's be real. Apple is great, doing well in technology and everything else. However, no matter how much money Apple makes, it takes some money to make more money, which Apple as figured out. This year, Apple's budget on ads was a whopping $1 billion ($1,000,000,000).
Previously, this blockbluster technology company spent $338 million in 2006, $467 million in 2007, $486 million in 2008, $501 million in 2009, $691 million in 2010, $933 million in 2011. So either Apple likes to spend on ads so more people buy their products, or the result of a troll called inflation, or both.

  1. It's not only the company's advertising costs that have jumped. Sales, general and administrative (SG&A) expenses, a type of corporate overhead, has shot up because of a number of factors, as Apple explained in its most recent 10-K annual filing
